Enquiries and company introductions
We collect the contact details and business information you choose to submit, including your name, email address, company, interests and message. Optional website and document links provide context for the conversation. We use this information to understand your request, assess the fit and respond.
When you ask us to explore working together, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract. For other business correspondence, our legitimate interest is to respond to relevant enquiries and manage business relationships. Providing the requested contact information is necessary for us to reply. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.
Newsletter and Fund I updates
Subscriptions are optional and based on your consent. We record your email address, any optional name, the time and version of your consent, and your subscription status. Fund I updates are recorded separately from general newsletter requests. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Fund I subscribers can also use the private management link shown after signup. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Fund I updates are news about a fund in development; subscribing is not an investment commitment.
Website operation
Our hosting provider processes technical information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and secure the website. Forms use rate limits and a hidden spam field to reduce abuse. We may store the submitting page and campaign labels from its address to understand the source of an enquiry. Our legitimate interests are operating a secure website and understanding relevant business enquiries.
This version of the website does not use advertising trackers or Google Analytics. Content management is separate from the enquiry database: personal form submissions are not published to the website.
Service providers and access
Cloudflare provides website hosting, submission storage and transactional email delivery. Website notifications are sent to our business email address, hosted by Google. Sanity manages public website content. Access to submitted information is limited to people who need it to respond to your request or manage your subscription, and service providers acting on our behalf.
Service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your request. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to handle the request and manage any resulting business relationship. We review information when the purpose ends and delete or anonymise it unless a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims requires continued retention.
Subscription information is kept while you remain subscribed. After withdrawal, limited records may be retained to document consent and respect your choice not to receive further updates. You can ask us about the retention applicable to your information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing, and withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to anthony@genesyventures.studio; we may need to confirm your identity.
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or Estonia’s Data Protection Inspectorate.
Sharing information safely
Please do not include identity documents, bank details or confidential financial records in an initial form. If further information is needed, we will agree an appropriate way to share it.
